Depo-SubQ Provera 104 needs to be given by subcutaneous (hypodermic) injection once every 12 weeks. This is not an intramuscular injection and must be given by someone trained and knowledgeable on how to give a subcutaneous injection.

I have been having trouble getting on for three months now as I am constantly getting headaches from having to get on my feet and legs. I am also a bit nauseous which can last for a few days but I always take it out of the box and when I start it I feel very uncomfortable.
My doctor has prescribed a patch that I take daily to help me get on my feet again. I have heard of the Depo-Provera shot but not being able to walk, I have also been experiencing hot flashes, and I have had no other options. This was my first time getting on a patch and I am not a newbie. I am very grateful to have been able to get through my patch and have had no side effects at all. I am just so glad I did.
